Established 2025 · By Invitation

Seven thousand Muslim dentists. One alliance.

Five clinical leaders convened MDLA in 2025 to build what our profession has never had: a platform of our own. The founding cohort is being seated through 2026.

The Founding Statement
Individually, this generation of Muslim dentists is the most successful in our profession's history.

Collectively, we have never had a platform of our own. MDLA exists to change that — on our terms, with our values, on our timeline.

Muslim dentists practicing in the United States

The Scale

More Muslim dentists practice today than in any prior generation. None of us has had an alliance of our own.

The Shape of It

Three commitments. One alliance.

MDLA is built around three things that, together, distinguish it from anything that has come before for Muslim dentists in the United States.

i.

A private alliance.

Membership is by invitation, anchored in peer referral and a shared commitment to integrity, excellence, and contribution. We are not building a directory. We are seating an alliance.

ii.

A clinical home.

Closed-door programming led entirely by member dentists — the conversations continuing education does not cover, taught by practitioners still in the chair.

iii.

A legacy project.

Long-form storytelling, peer-reviewed practice frameworks, and the relationships that document what it means to lead this profession with our values intact.

The Founders’ Message

In their own words.

Before you read their credentials, hear why five practitioners decided this had to exist.

The Founding Circle

Five founders.
One national alliance.

The founding circle was convened in 2025 by clinical leaders in Chicago and Dallas — the first two cities of an alliance being built across every major Muslim dental community in the United States. Each founder carries deep roots in regional community-building dating back to 2010.

Recent & Upcoming

What is happening now.

Specificity

What founding membership actually contains.

No promises in the abstract. Here is what the first year of MDLA membership actually contains — and, just as plainly, what it does not.

01

Four closed-door clinical sessions.

Member-led teaching from the founding circle and invited members. Spans clinical specialty, practice operations, and the conversations continuing education does not cover. All recorded for active members.

02

The founders mastermind.

A standing peer group for members navigating consequential decisions — partnerships, acquisitions, transitions, leadership inflection points. Convened quarterly under Chatham House Rule.

03

The members directory.

Curated and current. Searchable by city, specialty, or practice model. Every name vetted; every record reconfirmed annually. The roster is small by design.

04

An in-person convening, when it is earned.

MDLA is built online first. We are not scheduling a conference in the founding year — the programming and the peer circle come first. If the cohort wants to convene in person, 2027 is the earliest we would do it.

05

The founders wall.

Permanent recognition for members of the founding cohort. Once seated, the role does not reopen. The wall lives on the alliance, in the bylaws, and on the public site.

Pricing shared only with invited candidates. The founding cohort closes once seated.

For Now

Stay close.

We send a brief letter when there is something to say. Not often. Not promotional.

One short letter, only when there is something worth sending. Unsubscribe any time.

Thank you. We’ll be in touch when there is something to say.

The Invitation

Membership is by invitation.

The founding cohort closes once seated. The role will not be offered again.
